FAQs

Students are enrolled in their classes for the full year in which they are enrolling, and any changes to enrolment need to be made to us in writing at least 2 weeks in advance to any changes occurring. Classes are paid per term at the start of the term (approx. 10 weeks).

We hold an end of year performance where all families and friends can come and watch their child perform. We also offer performance opportunities throughout the year for keen and dedicated students. It is a great way for students to build confidence performing in front of a crowd, as well as showcasing their talents and skills which they have been learning throughout the year.

Our classes start from $10 per lesson and are paid per term (approx. 10 weeks). All payments for classes must be received at the time of enrolment (first week of attending classes) to reserve your child’s place. We also offer generous discounts for students attending 3 or more classes per week.

A list of your child’s uniform requirements can be found in our Student Information Pack. Your child is welcome to wear any comfortable fitted clothing to their first class before getting the correct uniform. All students are required to wear their hair in a bun for ballet and tied back off the face for all other genres.

Sometimes we find our children love to dance and we are not sure which class is best suited for our child’s needs. We always recommend ballet as a great starting point for most dancers. This style teaches poise, posture, grace and musicality and grounds students in learning all other styles of dance. If your child is a little more upbeat and funky we recommend jazz or hip hop classes and acrobatics for the more adventurous. If you are still not quite sure which class to choose, contact us and we will assist you in choosing the classes that are right for you.
